Ticketmaster is notorious for trying to get through to ,even for big venues , so i dont hold out much hope of getting them for tuts . Just hope genuine manics fans get most of the tix and not the scummy touts !!
Will be gutted if i miss out , as i havent missed a glasgow manics gig since before the mayfair in 92 !! GOOD LUCK

Good luck everyone for tomorrow. I'm keeping fingers crossed. Here's hoping that some genuine fans get tickets :-)

I really think the fairest thing in a situation like this would be to put tickets on sale physically. Then those committed enough to take the time to que would get their hands on them. Selling them online makes them an utter lottery and ensures that many of the people most determined to go will end up paying for their commitment at touts rather than with their time.

It already states on getmein(owned by ticketmaster) that tickets will go on sale tomorrow at 9am there-coincidence? when are bands going to stop ticketmaster running a tout site? they are an agent being paid to WORK for bands and seem to be running a nice little sideline charging hundreds of pounds-of course they claim they are just letting "fans" sell to each other but they are DEFFO filtering these away from public sale.

fingers crossed for tickets, tried for paulo tickets last week for mrs but no joy but i think most went to fanclub memebers in the presale.

good luck all

Yip totally agree that the same thing will happen as with the Paolo Nutini tickets. Totally pisses me off. Also agree that you should have passport or driving licence as proof of id and that would stop all these greedy touts from selling them on as I fear once again genuine fans will miss out. I will try and get tickets and it should be a maximum of 2 per person.

touts are gonna end up with most of the king tuts tickets-same as nutini gig-not the bands fault but a fan club ballot would have been fairer.the staff at the ticket agency will be blagging for fun same as ticketmaster mysteriously ended up with the nutini tickets on getmein.

Get tickets to show name of person who makes the purchase, and only let that person in to the gig. If that means taking your Passport - so be it. Otherwise tickets will be on getmein.com by 9.15 at 10 times face value ! Usual racket !

Hoping for 2 tickets but not holding my breath. Probably the touts will buy them and resell them on ebay like they did with the Paolo Nutini tickets

Oh no an 18yrs old and 300 ticket limit - leaves a lot to be desired but hope whoever is allowed in has a great time. Doesn't stop me moaning about it though :(

Play at somewhere where under-18s can be admitted or over-15s can be admitted. I'd love to see you guys but king tuts has an age limit of 18 :-(

Still have fun to all those that go there!

Oh no, can't make this one either - missed all the ones for the JFPL mini tour now this, I don't believe it - what about a South Wales gig lads? afterall it's not far for you to travel - please, please, pretty please?

Also, am I missing something - "they are playing as a three piece" ..............don't they always? or do they mean this is without the backing musicians? Sorry to sound thick............... ......
