Sounds like it was a great night. Just hope they do Barrowland later this year for all the fans who didn't manage to get tickets for King Tut's.

tuts gig was amazing! opening with rip it down,it was relentless for the whole set-particularly liked the acoustic version of the everlasting. Kevin carter and you love us were highlights for me.great to see them in such an intimate venue.

Fantastic performance at King Tut's. My ears are still ringing! 80 minute set included all the old classics. Didn't play Faster though. Would rather have heard that than Design For Life at the end. Getting a bit predictable now! Support was an acoustic set from James Walsh, Starsailor vocalist. James hinted that they'd be doing a gig at the Barrowlands later this year or early next year. Great news!

1 week to go... Unbelievably looking forward to this show!
I'll sit in hope for a track (or two?) from "The Holy Bible"! "Faster"? I think I'd actually die of excitement if I heard those two beautiful ringing notes coming out of JDB's guitar! x :)

A gig of this size should have gone to regsitered website fans only - give the genuine fans a hidden page on TM - still would have been a bunfight but at least we'd know the ticket tout VERMIN wouldn't be cashing in.

Just to change the subject, King Tut's tickets being the hot topic at the moment.

Get yourself over to Rough Trade (roughtrade.com) to purchase a copy of some JFPL remixes on vinyl. For £12.99 you get x2 12inch vinyls with remixed JFPL tracks. Limited to x300 copies only.

Saw a copy sell on Ebay last week for £48 so this is your chance to pay "normal" price for something rather than paying over the odds. Got my copy to add to my collection and alas I also missed out on tickets to see the band play in my hometown.

I'm overseas at the moment and managed to get two tickets. Rest assured the gig will be attended by two real fans. It's a disgrace that certain swines profit from other peoples devotion to a medium, band and experience. I realise how lucky I am to have tickets for the gig. Although it's the said scoundrels that ultimately 'win', a small consolation will be that I will travel to Glasgow safe in the knowledge that I'll be surronded by 299 genuine Manics fans on the night. x
