Just tyo let you all know the Manics were on MTVHD early this morning, live at the 09 exit festival. Lasted about 45 mins ,couple of tracks from plague Lovers and some more hits and a few short interviews.Keep an eye out in case they repeat it.

The New York show truly was a highlight of my life. Me and everyone else at the show was truly blessed to be there. Met James, Nicky and Sean and you were incredible on and off the stage. Great turnout by the way. Hey James, hope I didn't upset you for requesting "Yourself" onstage and going mental during your performance. Thanks again for signing my homemade "P.C.P" shirt. Agreed Manic Chuck. The Detroit show was truly special. I was disappointed at the small turnout, because I just wish more people over here were in touch with great music like the Manics. My wife and I traveled all the way from Dallas, Texas and were completely blown away at how great they were. Really glad I saw them tour Journal because it is certainly one of my favorite Manics records. Thank you Manic Street Preachers for giving the US another go. You deserve to be huge here!!!!!

Detroit show was off the hook! The wife and I had a blast and even got to meet the Manics after the show!! They are all true gentlemen and were so gracious to those of us that were foaming at the mouth at them about how much we love them for coming to the states. We met some wonderful people and fellow fans, and we never wanted the experience to end. Can't wait 'till you come back to the US, and remember Nicky, you promised me!!
