Have to say seen the manics loads of times and monday at wolvo was another great night....like james said on the night ! its also one of my favourite venues !! the new lp sounded even better live....and the greatest hits set capped off a top gig for all who were there! heres to the next time.....
alright, my album finally arrived! The wait was pretty painful though, I deliberated so often if I shoul d just buy one in the shops as I couldn't bare the wait. But I held out and am delighted now, great album, people shouldn't compare it to THB though, excuse the pun but that's sacreligious. But it is without doubt their best since EMG. You continue to surprise me Manics! Well Done!

Well am I jealoue or what! With all the gigs up north I wont get to see you lads this time around sob, sob. Come on lads, plenty of us want you in South Wales.
Nice write up about Your Mum's book Nicky and a lovely photo of you with your dog.
My ears are still ringing from the Barrowlands, it was LOUD. Performance wise best ever I think I've seen the boys, but no songs form the Holy Bible? Not one! I was a bit gutted, but it was worth it just to hear Sorrow 16-outstanding
Glasgow Barrowlands!! Wow, wow, wow!!! What a fantastic gig that was!!! JFPL was just outstanding, I thought Nicky did really brilliantly on William's last words, I loved how he said he needed as much help from us to get him through it! Greatest hits set was awesome - Sorrow 16 - immense, been a long time since I heard that live!! Thanks to the band for hanging about afterwards for a chat in the rain!! Hope the tour goes as well as it started.
So, JFPL in at number three in the UK album charts. I expected Eminem to go to number one. A seriously large amount of people can't get enough misogynistic self-aggrandizing greed-is-good shite. But beaten by f**** Green Day as well. Come on record buying public!! What's going on?! Green Day??!!
To quote Nicky (from an interview a few years ago) on Eminem: "He's just another white American millionaire. He writes about what he sees. ...it's not his fault."
i ordered the limited edition on the 9th of may and mine only arrived today..(i live in ireland as well!) so im sure yours will arrive in the next few days..if you didnt get it today!!tis worth the wait :)
I ordered my ltf ed. version of the album about 2 weeks ago, still hasn't arrived. I live in Ireland, I was just wondering if anyone else experienced similiar problems?
You are very welcome minimanic, always a pleasure to help a fellow fan! Can`t wait for tues myself, especially after hearing Nicky and James on radio 2 earlier .Great interview lads, loved the acoustic performances,as you don`t have a pc Nicky guess you won`t read these comments!!!Maybe you can ask sean to check em out!!See you tues can`t wait MANICS Gig 14 coming up!
After buying the limited edition of the new album (which is in my opinion the best one they've ever done) I was disappointed to note that the 'secret track' bag lady was not included, can anyone help me in finding the track or is it on the regular release?
Hi Manics fans -PLEASE use your vote in the Elections - it would be the biggest tribute to Richey ever - & to NIcky's ongoing use of his politics degree - if the younger generation fought against the apathy & ongoing racism of the older generation. The Queen inviting the BNP to Buck Pal - that's taking the piss. Vote show you're proud to be in a democracy & more internationally minded - a lot of MAnics fans now aren't WElsh or other British / Irish & that's a good thing - I wish I'd seen the MAnics in the anti-fascist gig back in 1994. Peace to all Manics fans.
