A back-to-basics reconstruction phase for the Manics to return to who they once were, a greatest hits made out of new songs, A 38 minute nostalgic flashback to the glory days of punk-rock and liberalist talks, was definitely essential for a Manic Street Preachers fan. I guess everything the band really needed after an epic pop album like Lifeblood and two solos from James Dean Bradfield and Nicky Wire, was to become young riots again to form the most comprehensive rock album of 2007 (people around me know I’m not a good exaggerator).
