01. Michael Schumacher 02. Jackie Stewart 03. Ayrton Senna 04. Niki Lauda 05. Mika Hakkinen 06. Jim Clark 07. Alain Prost 08. Nelson Piquet 09. Jochen Rindt 10. Jack Brabham
agreed on schumacher, but hakkinen was overrated. senna was great but benefits from the john lennon effect; his reputation would have faded a lot more if he hadn't died in that crash.
Hear hear ! me agree wholeheartedly to numero uno !! My granddad was called Schumacher and was from the same region so I consider myself to be loosely related to the man...:-)))))))) Jackie Stewart before Ayrton.....come on, Sean, how would you even know...did you see him drive ???
Yay Sean - glad to see that you have such good taste in formula one! Completely agree with your number one. Schumacher was by far the most complete package! Unusual to see someone rating Stewart above Senna though! If it were my list I would have to slide Mansell in as well! Saw you guys at V (staffordshire) last weekend and you played a stonking set, although tragically I missed grabbing one of your drum sticks you threw into the crowd - Boo! :-)
IMPERIAL BODYBAGS - I'm here to continue my campaign to persuade the Manics that this SHOULD be the 3rd single from SATT!!
Ignore the commercially safe chartable single of Columbia/ Sony's wishes..... go for the rocked out, anti-war, socially & politiacally aware song that the unsuspecting chart listening public will least expect!!
Come on Boys, let's have some fire in those bellies again..... hear the voice of the people screaming - ROCK MUSIC!!
It's awesome to find that you're a racing fan, Sean. Less than two weeks until Le Mans and the F1 boys are now Stateside, so life is good. Hope you guys come over as well. Cheers from Texas.
Sooooo anyway, misunderstandings aside. I see they have banned traction control for 2008, & I wonder if they have now found an efficent method of policing that ban. Because last time it was a shambles!!
Those 6 wins at Monaco & the Donington '93 are enough alone, without the rivalries. All stuff of legend, especially compared to today.
