This must've been a hard list to compile. There's so many great JDB vocal performances. Surprised to see From Despair To Where not included. i must add lists are fun I used to write so many of them when I was a teenager. Though any list is open to debate and is a matter of personal opinion of course. Many of my lists if I looked back on them would appear much different to what I would choose, say a few years on.

I am also writing from Toronto. I think the Universe works interesting. Just 3 days ago I was checking the Manics site to see if they'd even do North America. No dates. Then yesterday AGAIN I went to see if I can buy the CD at HMV, no luck. CD is not distributed in Canada. Their not the first band that the record company is not promoting!!! There's tons of garbage available for purchase.
After I came home and received an email that there's a Manics show in NYC. I checked on tour dates again and there it was TORONTO. I may go see them on a few dates this brief North American tour.
It will be very hard to support and album with shows that is UNAVAILABLE to purchase in stores.... in Canada. It's almost as if the album's not released yet in North America.

Just seen that the Manics have announced a gig in Toronto. I've been here 7 years and was certain the Manics didn't know where Toronto was! I've been a big fan since the Gold Against the Soul tour in the early 90's and have seen them 8 or so times but not for the longest. Anyway, does anyone know the presale password for the live nation ticket site... presale is today and the general sale is tomorrow. It's a small venue so I'd hate to miss out... so want to get tickets before they're gone.

Got the new album few days ago, what can I say! Loved seeing it live at Wolves Civic but nothing is better than bunging it in the car CD and crancking it up!

Lads, all your music is special, but this album is wonderful, last words of William is a great tribute to Richy, and an extremely hypnotic and catchy track.

May you continue to do what you do best!!
