'Alice' by tom Waits.
'Bitter Tears' by Johnny Cash

'Paris 1919' is glorious just for the Endless Plain of Fortune, which always destroys me inside in the best possible way. 'We are all innocent in spite of you and me'.

IMPERIAL BODYBAGS - I'm here to continue my campaign to persuade the Manics that this SHOULD be the 3rd single from SATT!!

Ignore the commercially safe chartable single of Columbia/ Sony's wishes..... go for the rocked out, anti-war, socially & politiacally aware song that the unsuspecting chart listening public will least expect!!

Come on Boys, let's have some fire in those bellies again..... hear the voice of the people screaming - ROCK MUSIC!!

Serena - BELIEVE

I have been a fan of the manics for 10 years now, I love every thing they do.
unfortunately, the great western would not be on my list, but Dr Wire's solo album would definitely be included.

What about Lennon - Imagine.

Ian Brown - Great choice.

Ooh! Catty! etc blah blah blah bla. It may be obvious and won't score me cool points but i would put a vote in for 'Plastic Ono Band' and the last John Lydon album, the title of which i can't remember.

If we pushed you to do a top 10, would a female artist get in there?

Loving the fact you have Rod Stewart in there - great album!

No Joe Strummer? I would have had Streetcore in my top five.

Wow, another closet thomas dolby fan. I was lucky enough to see him at last years Wireless festival, Windpower isn't on flat earth but it's probably my favourite dolby track.

Ian Brown's Solarized was IMO better than Monkey Business, and yes Ian Brown was fantastic on the Forever Delayed tour i don't care what anybody says.
